

The PFA researches all aspects of the career path of a professional footballer to help inform current players when making important decisions (such as to transfer overseas) and to assist FFA and the PFA devising better programs for the development of players.

Through player surveys, the PFA also measures the views of players on key issues, and puts those views to the football authorities in our negotiations and other dealings.

Growing attraction of the A-League

The PFA is delighted to announce, with the support of LUCRF. the nominees for the PFA Footballer of the Year, the PFA Harry Kewell Medal and the inaugural PFA Women's Footballer of the Year.
The winners will be announced at the Australian Football Awards on Thursday 7 October in Sydney.
