

PFA Life Membership recognises outstanding individuals who have given unquestionable service, commitment and loyalty to the well being of professional footballers.
The Rules of the PFA were amended at the 1998 Annual General Meeting to provide for the admission of Life Members. A person may be admitted as a Life Member of the PFA if:
· the person has been a Full Member, officer or employee of the PFA for 5 or more years;
· the person's admission to Life Membership is recommended to all Full Members and Life Members not less than 21 days before the Annual General Meeting; and
· 75% of Full Members and Life Members entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting vote in favour of the person's admission.
