Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is pleased to release its Australian Women’s Olympic Football Team Technical Report

The report aims to provide a technical analysis of the Matildas’ campaign at the Women’s Football tournament at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Through data and tactical insights the report benchmarks Australia’s performance against the world’s best, highlights areas of strength and possible improvement, and captures trends in women’s football.

The PFA believes a better informed game leads to more impactful football education, analysis and decision-making.
