MEDIA STATEMENT REGARDING LIAM REDDY

Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) has today confirmed that Liam Reddy has reached an agreement with the Central Coast Mariners to mutually terminate his contract with the club, effective immediately.

Since joining the club ahead of the 2013/14 season Liam has twice been voted as the Fans Player of the Year and once as the Players’ Player.

“I am extremely thankful to the Mariners fans for the support they have given me over the past two seasons,” said Reddy.

“The fans deserve success and I hope they have it in the coming years.

“I would like to thank the PFA for the support they have given me over the past few weeks and I now look forward to getting back to playing and being at my best on the pitch.”
